Growing your own crops, be they food or flowers, is an immensely satisfying pastime, and being outside, surrounded by nature, is good for your physical and mental health and well-being.
There are about 50 allotments available and we run a waiting list if they are all occupied. There is turnover every year and some will come free. If you think you would like to join our allotment community please contact Liz liz.hickes@hotmail.com
Current annual fees are £40 for a garden extension allotment and £20 for a central allotment. We may also have mini-plots or raised beds available. These fees include membership of the National Allotment Society which offers the following benefits
If you have recently moved into a house which has an allotment abutting it, you do not automatically have the Tenancy rights as the allotment field is private land and does not come with the house. However, if you would like to rent it please get in touch with liz.hickes@hotmail.com
Once you have signed a Tenancy Agreement you will automatically have the permission of the Rogeron Trust to put a gate entry from your garden to the allotment, for the duration of your Tenancy.
